Inger ‘Simple Edition’ is a new and simplified sewing pattern based on the original Inger dress, focusing on core design features with fewer details. The result is a minimal Inger version that is even more accessible across skill levels but still retains the same relaxed elegance that has made Inger one of Flid’s most popular patterns!

The ‘Simple Edition’ dress sees the buttons of the original replaced by an invisible zip, alongside a fuller skirt and longer sleeves with elastic.

The result is a stylish dress that shines with simplicity, and a sewing project without too much fuzz! Use fabrics that will drape nicely, like silk or viscose. Be mindful that fabrics like this can be tricky to sew, so if you’re looking for a more straightforward project, firmer qualities like linen or cotton satin will also do great with this design.

Inger ‘Simple Edition’ is a complete sewing pattern; you do not need the original Inger pattern to sew ‘Simple Edition’.

Materiell

The dress is best suited for lightweight, woven fabrics that drape well, such as viscose or silk. Keep in mind that handling smooth fabrics may pose some challenges. If you're aiming for an easier sewing experience, consider firmer materials like linen or cotton satin.
