NB: This is a pattern expansion for Clara. In order to use it in its intended form you also need the original Clara pattern.

Clara ‘Winter Edition’ is an optional upgrade for Clara, which makes it possible to sew the jacket with lining and zip closure. When combined with solid and weather resistant materials, the ‘Winter Edition’ upgrade can lift the Clara design for use into the autumn and winter seasons. Choose a dense heavy weight canvas together with a quilted lining for extra isolation, finished off with a cord collar.

The pattern expansion provides the pattern pieces and instructions needed to sew the lining and zip closure.

Remember, to make ‘Winter Edition’ you will also need the base pattern for Clara which you can find here.

The pattern sheet is provided as a layered PDF with sizes 34-50 in both A4, US Letter and A0 format.

Materiell

Winter Edition' is designed to to provide added durability and warmth. When choosing the main fabric, opt for a medium to heavyweight cotton canvas or twill. For improved water- repellent qualities, you might want to explore denser woven fabrics or fabrics coated with wax.
For the lining, choose materials like quilt, wool flannel, or sherpa.

Notion: 5 snap buttons (approx. 15 mm), separable metal zipper 55 cm for sizes 34-40 / 60 cm for sizes 42-50, denim needle, topstitching thread, interfacing for the collar, zipper placket, and facings, if needed.

PDF-Mønster

Når du kjøper mønsteret mottar du en PDF fil på e-post, med syveiledning og mønster tilpasset til å printes ut på A4 ark.

Når du skal printe mønsteret er det viktig at du passer på at skalering på printinstillinger er satt til 100%. Print først ut ark 1 og ta mål av kontrollfirkanten (5 x 5 cm) for å sjekke om innstillingene er riktig.
Arkene festes sammen kant i kant fra venstre til høyre slik som vist på illustrasjonen på første side.
